Term 1 Week 5: 25 February-1 March 2013
Week 5 already!
I am just coming to grips with the blog, and am delighted to be able to upload photos, so check out the reading page!
Bear with me as I become more adept at the blogsite.
The children have all settled in beautifully and are adapting to the life and pace of a Year 2 room. Karen Tabuteau and I are now cross grouping the children for reading and writing. Maths will follow next week. This is working really well because we can now target groups of children working at the same level and design class and group programmes to suit their needs.
I have been delighted with homework responses. Thank you parents for your support. Thank you also for the offers of parent help in the class. Your assistance in a busy junior room is invaluable.
The Gala is coming! It has been wonderful to receive so many donations. Thank you.
